Tiny Hole In The Ground Leads To Huge And Luxurious Underground Bunker

There aren’t many things cooler than finding a hidden compartment or secret drawer. So finding a hidden bunker? Well, that’s pretty darn spectacular!

There are still lots of bunkers hidden underground from WWII and the Cold War — just check out this awesome refurbished bunker in the U.K. — but in addition to historical bunkers, people are putting new bunkers underground everyday.

There are a lot of reasons. Some folks put them in place to provide a safe place in case of a natural disaster, while others use them as safe rooms or retreats from the chaos of everyday life.

And, like any home, they can range from simple and understated to wildly luxurious.

One particularly stellar bunker that’s been catching our eye recently is a massive underground tube, designed to sleep a big family in total comfort! Even better, it’s fully kitted out with every luxury you can imagine!

Scroll through the gallery below for a glimpse at this spectacular environment!

At first glance, this weird hole in the ground just looks like a door to an old root cellar or a service entrance.

But the unassuming entrance hides a very big secret!

Step inside, and you’re instantly swept into a massive and luxurious space as comfy as a five-star hotel.
Drop down through the trapdoor, and you’re in a luxurious world, all packed inside a simple tube.

Here, you can see a well-appointed den, complete with a cozy leather couch, a big TV, and gaming.

There are a couple of signs declaring it a “Man Cave,” but we think just about anyone would enjoy relaxing in this entertainment space!
The entertainment room is the ultimate space for relaxing and hanging out.

Between the mini fridge and the gaming center, we can imagine relaxing down here with plenty of snacks and movies.

In fact, you could probably easily forget you’re underground in a room like this!
As you move through the tube-shaped space, it just gets more and more luxurious and relaxing.

This elaborate kitchen is nicer than the cooking space in most apartments.

You’d think it would be tight in an underground kitchen, but this space is filled with counter space and cabinets.
We’re totally in love with the comfy, cozy master suite.

It’s not terribly spacious, but the beautiful big bed looks like the best place imaginable to curl up with a book.

Since space is at a premium, we can also imagine fitting this room with lots of shelving and storage!
In fact, shelving is a major theme of some of the other sleeping space.

There are a few areas packed with triple-decker rows of shelf-style bunk beds.
These dormitory-style setups can sleep a whole host of people if push comes to shove
